Spending time out with our loved ones becomes a commodity as the years pass by. The kids start getting busier, our parents get older. Gathering everyone for a weekend starts getting rough so when the opportunity presents itself, you got to really make the best out of it.
Family restaurants are far from scarce in Singapore but even then, you can’t just pick any restaurant as your family deserves only the best. This list has been specially curated so that the whole crew can have only the best food ranging from Indian to BBQ Seafood at 6 unique dining spots in sunny Singapore.
1. For Indian Fare: Delhi Restaurant
Have a taste of Delhi in Little India, Singapore, without even having to get on a flight. Clifford and Diana Tan, the proud owners of Delhi Restaurant, had first established this homely family eatery in 1986 to bring both culture and cuisine under one roof. With its authentic taste and splendid hospitality, it is no wonder that they now have a lasting legacy and the support of many regular diners.
With the best cooks from all over the world constantly cooking up improved recipes, something special is always brewing here. Indian cuisines are all about the spices and herbs – and that is what Delhi Restaurant does best. Cult-favourites here include the Tandoori Chicken, Biryani and Ajwaini Jhinga – prawns marinated with yoghurt, thymol and garlic cooked in tandoor spices.
If you have a vegetarian joining the meal, worry not for they have a wide variety of vegetarian options too. This includes Tandoori Aloo (potatoes) or Broccoli, Vegetable Butter Masala and vegetarian-friendly Indian bread which come in a variety of selections.

Add on some seafood pancake to share with the family and you are all set for a good lunch or dinner. P.S. Designated play areas for children are also available in the restaurant, a treat for the kids as the adults grill the hearty meat away.
