I’m the 3rd generation from my grandfather who brought me to eat until now it’s still the best laksa in Singapore. The burning charcoal that cooks the soup brings an amazing aroma into every mouth. It’s so flavorful that leaves you a thought of it whenever someone mentions laksa. The cockles is so fresh where it hardly find in other laksa stall nowadays. Do you know you can ask for “Kids Laksa” my girls (4th Generation) love it and it has become a landmark for laksa in our family. Long queue always but it’s always worth the queue.

I did not know how good this laksa is until I saw a recent review by a YouTuber and came here to try for myself. The owner has really perfected this dish – the rich curry and coconutty gravy, the doneness of the noodle, the prawns which may look small are so sweet and chewy (versus those that are succulent and plump which is an indication of added baking soda). The chilli is also very punchy that when mixed in adds more flavours in every mouthful. Best I have had by far.

I’ve eaten many laksa in Singapore, but this one is by far the most delicious. There is a drop right across from this shop, but the level of taste is definitely different. I went to a different laksa shop yesterday, but it was thin and not tasty. The laksa here was thick and delicious. I don’t like the smell of laksa, but when I eat it, my impression changes (lol). Surprisingly good despite the smell (lol). It seems like they take orders all at once and serve them all at once. Pay cash when you receive laksa. For your first laksa, you should definitely eat from a delicious place! ! ! If you want to eat laksa for the first time in Katong, this is the place. If it doesn’t work here, laksa probably doesn’t suit you.

Have not eaten 328 laksa for manyyyy years so I decided to have it again today for lunch since I was in the vicinity. I had my doubts that it will still be good but I was wrong.
