Edgy, whacky, definitely a unique experience. On a Friday, there is live music, DJ, live singing, interspersed with counter top dancing and live bongo drums. Very good crowd. Many mid 30s to early 40s expats and we heard some 70s 80s remixes as well. Post 1 AM got to hear very cool dance music. No entry fee but you should dress “appropriately” to enter. Cocktails range from 20 to 35 $. Definitely recommended.

Visited Cork & Brew with my partner on a Monday night and was not disappointed. We ordered the 3 course dinner set and were BEYOND STUFFED even before the mains were served.
The portions here are great for those who want more for their buck.
The stars of the night was the handmade ricotta cavatelli and the whipped buffalo milk ricotta starter (MUST TRY). Coming in next is the arctic cod. The meat was white, plump and perfectly cooked. (Nobody likes dry fish).
The desserts were ginormous as well.

Came here for the alcohol-based ice cream and dessert!
The alcohol-based ice cream (at $6 per scoop) was quite okay. I would have wanted stronger alcohol taste in it. Though, in their current recipe, you can taste a tinge of the alcohol – which to some people – is enough.
The cakes were good too! I had the chocolate cake. The chocolate was not too sweet – and has that distinct bitter-sweet taste, which I love.
The restaurant, located at the 33rd floor of Asia Square 2, had a nice view. You can see the adjacent buildings, or the Marina Bay area.
