Considering whether to entrust our elderly family members to a nursing home in Singapore is never an easy decision to make. Yet, the same can be said about looking after them personally, what with our modern lifestyles now having us focused on work and other responsibilities. Ultimately, what matters at the end of the day is improving their quality of life, and a nursing home is one of several ways that can provide just that. If you’ve all agreed to move forward with entrusting a senior to the care of a nursing home, these are the best ones that guarantee your loved ones will be in good hands.

It’s heartwarming to be a volunteer at today’s Carnival as I witness the excitement of the residents as they each had a turn to play five different games that allow them to use their physical abilities to win. Slight modifications to the rules were made to ensure all residents leave each game booth as winners. The pre-preparation efforts of the nursing staff were reflected in the attractive game booth using recyclable materials. Excellent management in Organising and scheduling the residents to attend the carnival in batches, each accompanied by at least one volunteer, ensure maximum crowd control and safety for all. 👏🏼 well done 👍🏻.

Have met alot of good and experienced staff and medical social workers from St Luke who provided alot of advice and assistance but after these people left, the service level of staff dropped. The only worthwhile thing of St Luke is the staff working on the nursing home are still helpful and took good care of the elderly.

Customer Reviews:
Francesca Tan
Really want to thank Social Worker Daniel for going the extra mile seeking permission to allow my family to visit our relative during CNY despite us having more than the stipulated number of visitors (2pax). I thought we would be able to bring our relative down to level 1 to meet the rest of the family in the open area or garden if we exceeded the 2pax. Unfortunately Ling Kwang Home is very strict about this, and does not allow it. I suppose it may be because they also have a day care centre at level 1 and they would not want any cross infection happening. Staff are generally polite. Pleasant experience.
Soniya Kulkarni
Approachable staff. Kind nurses. Clean facilities with hygienic toilets. They make nutritious meals for the residents every day. The place has a positive environment and the residents look happy to be living there. I would recommend Ling Kwang Home for those looking for elderly care.

Clean, well-organized with a dedicated staff, which genuinely cares for its residents. This place has a positive feeling to it. The elders have the opportunity to socialize with each other in the well-ventilated hall, where they can play games or simply chat with each other. All the meals are cooked in house. This place is an excellent option if you want to leave your elderly relatives for a short term stay if you are traveling for work or for any other reason. They provided multiple short- and long-term care options, which really helps take the pressure off families. I would recommend their services.

Very well run nursing home manned by professional and compassionate staff. The building is purpose built as a nursing home hence is well ventilated throughout the wards. All laundry and cooking is done in house. I have taken my mom out on home leave on a few occasions and things are all organized to facilitate the home leave such as medication and diapers supplies. We hv our own wheelchair and the home loaned us a walking frame to enable my mom to walk at times.
