This is one of the few remaining traditional Chinese pastry confectionery in Singapore. It has extensive variety of mooncake during the mid-autumn festival. Mooncake still taste good even after the festival. A little far from the mrt station but it is accessible via several buses. Take a 350m walk after alighting from the bus. Service staff is helpful. Called to inform i will be arriving near closing time and he waited for me.

Received a box of snow skin top grade premium black gold mao shan wang MSW durian as a gift. Initially i was not impressed with the pinkish box and the fact that it did not come with cutleries. That expectation soon changed as soon as I opened the box. Each of the mooncake came with individual customised styrofoam cylindrical packaging to keep it cold. That’s something you don’t commonly see in mooncake packages. As a post-dinner dessert, my black gold mao shan wang durian was taken out from freezer to the table. The durian mooncake was quick to defrost. It took less than 5 mins and I could soon cut through it. It was not soft and mushy usually found in run-of-mill MSW durian mooncakes. On the contrary, this MSW durian paste texture was slightly firm and compact, rich and moist and it has the uniquely distinctive mao shan wang flavour on the bitter side which I like very much. This durian paste also has bits of pulp which was reminiscent of real mao shan wang fruit. As I am both a durian and mooncake lover, this premium MSW mooncake was nothing short of a gastronomical experience.
