Yesterday, I just concluded the 80-hour session of the Yoga Instructor Certification Course (YICC) was truly enrichment . Time seemed to effortlessly glide by as we immersed ourselves in the teachings of experienced yoga instructors, both in theory and practice. The atmosphere was nurturing, fostering not only the sharing of knowledge and wisdom but also a deep sense of care within a clean environment. With 120 hours left to complete the 200-hour journey, I eagerly anticipate the continued growth and fulfillment that lie ahead. Deep gratitude to all my teachers. 🙏❤️🙏

This is my 4th retreat led by teacher Arya and it was as awesome as the previous retreats with him. I really appreciated his efforts put in to teach us and his professionalism. Even on rainy days, he will still check out the venues and explored ways to allow us to still continue with the yoga sessions if possible. He has maintained a high level of teaching standard at all times. He is simply amazing. 👍👍 Only a small feedback for the recent Vietnam retreat that the itinerary on the cruise is a little too packed. Otherwise it was a memorable 4 days for me and I have enjoyed myself tremendously! Thanks to Vyasa management and teacher Arya for the efforts put in!!

I had the pleasure to attend the Spring Jeju Retreat earlier in May 2024 and had an absolutely lovely time with Angie and the rest of the attendees! The places we went were less touristy and all the meals were hearty and wholesome! Will want to go again! I enjoy the 2 times a day yoga practice and visiting museums, going for hikes and eating all the local food! It’s a short but relaxing and recharging trip. 🙂
Jenny Chung
Great big kudos to Hary and Angie for their unrelenting support to help me fully unwind and 100% (or as near as it gets) relax during the 1hr+ RESTORATIVE YOGA session. Before this class and another one like it a few weeks back, I had not known that what I thought was relaxing was only mere halfway relaxing and that through REAL relaxation, one is able to be in their natural state.. kind of like way back then.. as close as possible to their original selves.. by letting go. It seems, in this current city life, one cannot let go and fully rest with their guards down and that we are so used to this that we don’t really know what resting actually is. 😅😅😅😅😅 Anyway, so now I know and intend to take up more of this restorative yoga class if any planned in the future, on top of my usual Friday group lessons and weekly private lessons with YIC.
Ryan Joon
Great atmosphere and community. Thanks angie for the class. Highly recommended for anybody looking to get started in yoga. 🧘

Bumped into this quaint and cozy studio, sharing my feedback after completing 50 classes! I have an autoimmune condition with multiple surgeries done. The classes at common ground have helped me strengthen my skeletal muscles, making me feel healthier! The instructors are very skilled; they focus on using the right technique as much as they focus on listening to your body (offering variations). They have different instructors who train on varied formats. You can choose a style that suits you or just base it on a convenient time. Definitely recommend signing up!

I always enjoy attending teacher Linda class! Love everything about her. She is the only instructor whom will play music during class, very thoughtful of her. As and when give encouragement to student. The studio is clean and spacious. Good vibes. There are shower room too! If you happen to stay near the east side, don’t miss this place! And the staffs are very helpful friendly and they don’t do hard sales!
BRENDA NG
OYP is one of the most spacious studio with open views that I have encountered. With ample shower stalls and lockers in changing room,I do not feel pressed having to vacate the shower stall nor search out a storage for personal belongings. Above all, the 3 teachers that I have encountered, Mahendra, Krishnamohan and Swarap are very good teachers, owning years of solid training/practice from their specialised field in yoga. I count myself a serious learner and would practice with them. Also, I am grateful to Vasanth for letting me access trial lessons to 2 different classes. I wish OYP would open in another more centrally located place so that more can get to learn and experience from their teachers!
meltingpig
Clean, zen and quiet environment. Location is excellent, at Singpost. Did two trial classes (Wall rope yoga & Hatha back care) on last friday, with Mahendra. He is a friendly and encouraging teacher. I enjoyed the classes; one uses rope & the other uses chair. If got chance, would love to try the recommended iyengar too. 🙂

Atara is a very encouraging teacher. I’ve been to her aerial yoga classes and it’s very addictive. Although challenging, she doesn’t give up on those that can’t do it and tries her best to help. I’ve improved a lot from the first day I started lessons and was scared of heights but now I’m not anymore!
Yong Ting Yu
Having been re-visiting Aha Move for aerial yoga esp. Atara’s class. Love the way she conducted the class. She is very encouraging and friendly, she gave very clear instructions and go around helping every1. The studio is bright and spacious too.

Customer Reviews:
Marcel Thieliant
This yoga studio is a little more scruffy than some of the other big names out there. Their class schedule is a touch lighter than in some of the bigger studios as well. But if you’re looking for the best yoga teachers that genuinely know what they’re doing, look no further. I’m a particular fan of the fact that you can take a plan where you pay by class rather than per month as I don’t have the time to attend a lot of classes.
Amelia Lee
Recently just signed up for class packages at Jal Yoga and I’m very grateful for the professional yet caring instructors. The studio has all the props available and staff are always helpful and friendly. A big shout out to Wallo the Alexandra studio manager for making extra effort in sharing about the different types of classes that are more suitable for beginners like me. Appreciate the advice so much! Thanks Jal Yoga! 🙂🙏

Lenny H
One of the (not many) very good yoga studios and the best for hot yoga in town! Despite being strict on some area, the instructors are generally great and friendly (especially Roxanne!), and they take each session very seriously. The studio is also very generous to provide good bathing facilities and Kangen water, free for all students. Always came out feeling refreshed. Highly recommended!
Mia Z
Excellent yoga studio with a fantastic instructor Roxanne! Went as a classpass user but was treated exactly the same as their regular students. Hence, decided to write a review here on Google as well to support a really good studio! The hot stretch class was fantastic, with effective stretches that pushed me well. Class size was small so Roxanne could give everyone lots of attention. She went around many times making adjustments for us. The stretches were held for longer which really worked to increase flexibility. The room temperature was nice enough to sweat. Will come back again when time allows!
Lilia Lim
The studio is hottest I can find in Singapore, the instructors are awesome, experienced and fun loving folks, the best part is yoga ethics are quite strict, there won’t be anyone strolling in after the door is closed and that elevated the experience and lesser disruptions to class. Myself was late once and the studio was kind to let me join the next class which I’m happy. Always happy and glad after every class. Come and sweat it out together!
