Food was great, there were more dishes we would like to try on their menu, too bad it was our last day in Singapore. Wish we would’ve found this restaurant earlier. Staff attentive, service top notch. Highly recommend.

Our anniversary at Summer Pavilion was enchanting. The refined setting, flawless service, and delectable Chinese cuisine created an unforgettable experience. We booked a private room here and had the Hyacinth menu. Every dish was made wonderfully with thought, even their in-house Chinese oolong tea was good! Fish maw soup and lobster pao fan were the star dishes. Mango sago was not made overly sweet unlike in many restaurants. Ambience was great, indeed very private and the space provided was big. Service here was way above expectations and they do go beyond to help you. Would highly recommend to come here if you’re celebrating something special.
Leonn Ho
Was delighted by both the food and the service. Duck skin was exceptionally crisp, and the lobster in the poached rice was tender, not tough. They provided a complimentary birthday mousse cake and shou tao for birthday celebration. Staff were extremely attentive and proactively met what we were about to ask for. Shoutout to Karen for her enthusiasm with the celebration and passion.

Had a really pleasant experience at Kai Garden. We were served by Angel. She gave us great recommendations on the dishes and was very attentive to our needs throughout the dinner. Service from the other staff members was also superb, better than most Chinese restaurants of a similar price range. Our favourite dish was the red grouper cooked in a lobster stock. The fish was fresh, the soup was flavourful.

5 ⭐️Food & Service! Every item was super yummy, especially the XO sauce which wasn’t supposed to be part of the meal selection. Li Yuan, our table staff, was very welcoming and we really appreciated her attentiveness and initiative to recommend dishes based on our group size. They are also running a really attractive promotion for Lobsters if you spend above $100. Lobster was extremely fresh and sweet, totally worth it! Will be back to try other dishes!

My second visit, and still continues to impress! The food is always flavorful and appetizing, making every meal a joy. The service staff are friendly and very attentive, which really enhances the whole dining experience. A unique touch is their “system” of cooking special rice in a row of cute-looking rice cookers—it’s both efficient and charming. Highly recommend!

1st time trying 湖南菜. Being a local singaporean, I don’t really know how authentic it is, but I quite like the food there. The 辣子鸡has good portion of chicken meat, and the 酸菜鱼 is good too. Staff service level is good, friendly and helpful. Our requests is promptly acted on it.

The white pepper crab is a solid 10/10. For its price it’s HUGE and super fresh? The meat was so so sweet?!? Love the salted egg prawn balls too! Also please get the truffle beef. Service was great! Thank you laobanniang!
Kenny Yap
Simple dishes executed really well. Came here for my dad’s birthday on a Sunday afternoon and restaurant was a humble cosy size with very friendly and warm staff. There were a few other tables but not full house. All the chef recommended dishes were good, definitely also order the horfun if you like a good wok hei. Service was also fast and responsive and food came out hot. Price wise was reasonable but not exactly cheap, but if you compare against hotel restaurant prices then it’s understandable, S$250++ for all the food pictured. Overall, recommended.

We chanced upon this restaurant as we were walking around Chinatown. Turns out every dish we ordered were good. The egg white with crab meat, fried rice and 3 cups beef. Yummy 😋 Although it is located in Chinatown but it is not busy part of Chinatown. Good service and ambience too. Highly recommend for good quality “zhi char”.

Hidden gem of an outstanding Chinese restaurant tucked away in the second floor of an East Coast Hotel. This is not an ordinary Chinese restaurant but the preserve of an exceptionally skilled chef. Nice service too. Not cheap. Only disappointment was the room itself, which had a slightly confused decor and low ceilings, but food and service easily make for this. Top notch. And nice desserts too!
Maycia Hong
Peking Duck was their signature, the skin was incredibly crispy while the meat was juicy and flavorful. And all the other dishes were delicious too. We enjoyed very much.

4.5 (rounded up to 5). Food was reallly good, haven’t had such good Chinese food in a long time. Even my Grandma commented that the food was good. HOWEVER, the prices in the menu is for a 3-4 pax hence the portions are really quite small, especially if dining in a bigger group. Highly recommend the Peking Duck, Shao Rou, XO Fried Rice and Crispy Garlic Chicken. Total damage was $646 for 11 pax. Do note that no complimentary carpark is available. Will dine again during special occasions when we decide to splurge.

I don’t usually write reviews, but my lunch experience was great, and exceeded expectations I had for Jumbo restaurants. Service was top-notch, and the staff were very attentive and accommodating, and the ambience was despite being seated in the open space dining hall. The dish that stood out the most was the spinach tofu, which even had a wok-hey to the accompanying mushrooms. The fermented bean chicken also had a relatively unique taste that we appreciated. A small shout-out to Ms Eva who was attending to our table and ensuring our experience was as pleasant as possible.
Robert Lum
This is the first time I had dinner at Zui Yu Xuan TC Cuisine. It was a wonderful experience. The staff were friendly and helpful. The place is nicely decorated like an old traditional Chinese restaurant. The food is cooked to our satisfaction except that the oyster omelet was very thin, so lack the chewy feeling. The price is a little on the high side but still affordable for the type of place. They have private rooms. Overall, I would recommend this place.

Great food and ambience ! Brought my elderly parents in their 80s for Mother’s Day dinner and were greated with very patient and attentive staff as my parents’ movement was slow. Ordered ala carte menu of teochew classic platter includes traditional deep fried ngoh hiang, teochew pig trotter jelly very nostagic and good, teochew steamed pomfret fish huge and fresh, fish maw soup thick and favoury, crispy sea cucumber with mushroom & broccoli the best dish, braised duck with beancurd tender and juicy, teochew oyster omelette very fragrant, teochew chye poh kway teow full of wok hey, top off with both pumkin ginko nuts yam paste and hasma yam paste for a very enjoyable and sumptuous meal ! Lastly this is probably the only restaurant I came across with mouthwash ! Highly recommended !
