Reasonably priced Japanese buffet with a wide variety of dishes to choose from. Atmosphere is warm and cozy, different from how the usual buffet restaurants are like. The cleaner auntie “serving” our table is friendly and helpful – kudos to services like this.

Never expect a Japanese Ala Carte buffet to taste so well! KUSHI certainly uplift my confidence in Japanese buffet which is usually served low in quality! Though ambience is a little lacking, the food makes it all up! Even a simple staple food like Garlic rice is served fragrantly! Honestly not many Japs restaurant can do it, let alone buffets! Another good one which I think of is Nanbantei! Kushi’s grill is another highlight! Don’t ever miss that! Variety is big here and I am sure it can wet everyone’s appetite! Do give it a try n I am sure it will not disappoint u!

We had an ala carte buffet, serving speed is good, service is good and the food is good. Price is really good compared to many family Japanese chain restaurants.

We enjoyed the oyster buffet and mini don buffet, featuring freshly shucked ponzu oysters, cheese oysters, mentaiko oysters, and a variety of scallops—absolutely delicious! We also tried the chicken don, wagyu don, and kaisen don. All of this for a great price of $75! Highly recommended for family and friends. 🙂

I’m still reeling from my incredible dining experience at Kakurega! The Oysters and Mini Don buffet is a game-changer for seafood enthusiasts. From the moment I walked in, I was enveloped in a cozy and intimate atmosphere that set the tone for a fantastic meal. The oysters stole the show – incredibly fresh, plump, and full of flavor. Whether you like them classic or with a creative twist, there’s something for every palate. And the scallops? Equally impressive! A delightful contrast in texture and taste that complemented the oysters perfectly.
Moh
Oyster buffet was something new for me to experience! Don’t think I’ve eaten that many oysters before in my life. I loved the cheese oysters the most. The various don dishes were also delicious and I appreciate the small portions they came in. Thoroughly enjoyed the experience although by the end I became a bit scared of oysters 🤣 their potato salad so cute it came in a cone oh and the complimentary sashimi was super good 😋

We were a party of four celebrating a birthday. We chose the standard buffet and were happy and satisfied with the selections. The staff were helpful and service was attentive. And I was impressed that they did something nice for the birthday girl. All I did was did a note when making the reservation. And I completely forgot about it so we were really surprised when they came out with the ‘cake’ and the birthday song. I would come back again in a flash. Thank you guys.
Maria

We came here for the BBQ buffet. The food selection is wide, especially the meat section, but the vegetable selection is limited. The staff services are extremely good and helpful, and they serve you with smiles.

One of the best buffet I’ve had. I make it a point to go at least twice a month. The meats are very thinly sliced and that makes the most difference then other places. Weekday buffet lunch is now $22.70++ for shabu shabu

2nd time we were here.. love the thick slices of Sashimi! the buffet options is less that their ala carte menu but good enough to sample different items. The grilled chicken wings were very good in my opinion. lightly salted and crispy.

Came here for dinner buffet on a Friday night for $48.90++ per pax and it’s totally worth it!
Xinyi Qu
Second time at this place, right next to Ikea Alexandra. The buffet menu is decent, sashimi is very fresh and thickly sliced (even by the third serving). The tempura is also freshly fried. Yakitori sauce is a bit much, and gets salty – probably can skip.
