Came here for the beginner’s bouldering class led by Eunice. It was very comprehensive and we learnt things starting from falling off from the wall safely. We then went on to explore the different beginner routes. Overall, a very pleasant and enjoyable experience. Eunice was very friendly and encouraging. The class didnt feel long:)) after the lesson, we can stay and climb on our own!!

Attended boulder planet’s starter pack today with 2 trainers (Kirsten & Sean)! They were both warm, patient, and made sure to point out tips or advice based on things they noticed from my climbs. I’d highly recommend the starter pack to those who are keen to find out more about climbing techniques & equipments (-:

Cosy, spacious bouldering gym nestled in the corner of Esplanade. Chill vibe, good music, great place to go with friends. Plenty of routes for all levels of climbers, and the easier problems also aren’t ‘boring’ or overly simplistic, and provide an adequate level of challenge to provide a sense of accomplishment when sending it. 10/10 experience for first timers and experienced climbers. Went for the guided intro class and the instructor (shout out to Ben) was very patient and informative. Great care went to teaching us the basics and some tips for the more advanced ppl too. Will come back again!
Josh Lee
Fantastic climbing space with good vibes and people. Got a tour of the gym by Glen, one of the co-founders, and he led me through a mobility warm up routine. Routes were a good range for me as a beginner-novice. Fellow climbers were always willing to share tips and show the path on routes. Lockers, shower, and footwash were all available. 10/10 would recommend.
Hanh Kan
Wide variety of facilities albeit its size. Warm up area with a rack, bench, hang boards, standard bar with plates and resistance bands available. There is a shower, hair dryers and even a microwave for use. Unique grasshopper board. The climbs are very beginner friendly. There are climbs to work on specific techniques. Came on a Wednesday afternoon and it was pleasantly uncrowded. Nice place.

Boulder movement staff is really friendly and the gym has all gym equipment to warm up as well as clean showers. The climbs are nice and despite the walls not being very high, I found some of the problems really interesting. 💪

Clean, well maintained and fair pricing. There’s some weight and grip training equipment as well as changing and shower facilities. The team are very friendly and helpful, the atmosphere is one where any ability can feel welcome. The only downside was the music playlist but that’s impossible to get right for everyone so I won’t hold that again you 🤣 thank you BM!

Angela Lin
It’s a difficult gym for beginners but I LOVE the space. There’s a lot of room to go with a big group and hangout together. I did a mini birthday party surprise for my partner and the team at Base + Boulder+ were super nice to help coordinate! Love this gym!
Dennis Kwang Boon Tan
One of the best bouldering gyms in Singapore. It is spacious and has a variety of wall angles.
Jerusha Chua
I’ve been to a few bouldering gyms in other countries and this is one of the better ones. The setting here is very interesting, all the routes are different and challenging in their own way. They have their own custom difficulty, with the black colour as a wildcard. This is one of the bigger climbing gyms in Singapore. I’m not sure how transitable is it – we took a grab to get here. The gym is located on the 4th – it was not clear when walking into the Chevrons. Some signage would be helpful. The AC is quite strong, so you won’t be bouldering in the heat. There’s an attached cafe and quite a spacious seating area, so you can enjoy a drink or snack before / after climbing.

Great value for the facilities: gym, auto-belay climbing wall, multiple bouldering walls, sauna, and pool. Also allows coworking.
Weldon Ng
A very big place for bouldering and even include a gym too! It even has a place to do rock climbing as well. A very big facility with lots of choices to climb to and get your skills up in bouldering! Definitely will come here again but location wise is a little bit far from public transport so might need to walk a least 10-20minutes.
Johanna Chow
Truly one of the best climbing gyms in Singapore. Place is huge. Many spots for bouldering, both for beginner and advanced levels. There’s even a section for top rope, endurance walls, a gym, pool, sauna etc. also cozy corners to chill, do work or chit chat. If it weren’t so out of the way I would definitely be coming here more often. But truly truly worth a visit, you can definitely spend your entire day here no problem.
