The waiters were kind and the place felt like hogwarts itself, and there are many cloaks and wands to dress yourself with which really give the Harry Potter vibes. It was a memorable time for my daughter.

Hands down one of the best restaurants in Singapore! Chef Wai Leong is so innovative and creative, you will not find any similar dishes anywhere else. King salmon in tofu chinese seaweed sauce? Picanha with smoked carrot puree and red wine curry jus?! Honestly amazing and so flavorful. If you have to visit one restaurant in Singapore, this is it. We are blessed to have a restaurant like this here.
Bonnie Frankel
We will always remember our evening at Ibid. The food was so delicious and after each bite was an “Oh my god!” But what I will always remember in addition to the creative, beautiful and delicious food was the way we felt. Chef/ owner Woo Wai leong wants everyone to feel as if they are guests and he accomplished that. Spending much of the evening chatting with guests as if they were old friends was something we’d never experienced. Sitting at the counter table welcomed conversation with others if you chose to. If you are going to go to one restaurant in Singapore, go to this one. One of the best restaurant experiences ever.
Joanne Jong
Alex and chef Wai Leong were really wonderful across the night. They shared lots of info in the food and the thought process behind the dishes, they were fun to talk to and happy to share experiences and story. We really enjoyed not just the meal but the company. The salmon dish was out of this world. I would come back multiple times just for that dish alone if they did it ala carte!

Scuzzi moi for the dark photos coz the place is really dim (the bar area, not the dining hall) Burnt ends serves up quite an assortment of highly creative dishes. Who would think of putting leek with hazelnuts? But the creativity on the menu is off the charts. And it works. I tried a tasting menu which comprised of most of their favourites. Unfortunately by the end, was already unable to squeeze in anymore meat so we had to leave it at the pulled slider. Every dish was thoughtfully prepared you could tell. Mind u, the food here is meant to be savoury which is right up my alley. Strong tastes and heavy seasoning is used. I love that. Endless banter with the wait staff also made for a good evening. If I could even remotely be able to get a table next time, I’d surely be back.
saluki chase
Their flat iron steak with sweet onion sauce is unforgettable. Restaurant vibe is industrial and we were at the counter seating to watch the chefs. This is good for special occasion – once in a while splurge. Please book weeks in advance.
Aravind Ramachandran
Burnt Ends is a nice cocktail bar in the Dempsey area. The area has a nice vibe with complete greenary surrounded and no tall buildings gives you a different perspective of Singapore. The bar itself is an upscale location very nice, being Wednesday not many people but definitely quite expensive. May be it is common in Singapore but definitely much above average. Overall good to meet up and have a drink or two with a great ambience.

Customer Reviews:
Eunice
Restaurant with a secret entrance that we were so amused by. Definitely add on to the atmosphere for the day. We were impressed with the taste of the meal – wasn’t expecting too much from a fusion chinese meal initially but we chose adventure and glad we were not disappointed. The Wagyu Truffle Beef Hor Fun was delightful, the beef was tender and melts in the mouth. The XO green dragon vegetable dish had a lovely wok-hey taste. Good thing we ordered the Firecracker chicken, the chicken was tender yet skin crispy. What I love was the maple fritters that came with it (was joking that I wish it was a side dish on its own). Service crew were friendly and overall we had a great time. I would choose to come back again for a gathering in future
Kenneth Tan
What an unforgettable dining experience at The Dragon Chamber! The moment you step through the hidden entrance, you’re transported into an atmospheric space that blends speakeasy mystery with rich Chinese aesthetics — a bold and innovative concept that sets the tone for the meal. We were served by Joey, who was warm, attentive, and extremely knowledgeable about the menu. His thoughtful recommendations and excellent service made our visit feel extra special.

A unique dining experience. Considering the price (we ended up spending 570 per person), there weren’t many premium ingredients, but it stood out for its creativity and incorporation of Singaporean culture. The service was exceptionally good.

Arnout Lie
Cool concept! Theatrical and special, very special to experience. The food was tasty, but not special. The pairing was mainly found nice but worked less with the dishes. However, this is not a problem, because the experience was great and the food is subservient to this. Definitely recommended for adventurous people who do not mind being pulled out of their comfort zone.
Benjamin Toh
Amazing dining experience, great service from the “anchors” . However, food quality / quantity can still be improved better given the price that we are paying.
Peng Zhong
